Charles Cros technical high school of Carcassonne is developing its partnership with Estonia, in the field of catering and hotel management. Interestingly enough, Carcassonne is located in the Aude region that hosts the highest number of Michelin-starred restaurants in the entire France.

In 2015, through this partnership, four young Estonians from the Tallinn Hotel School (Tallina Teeninduskool) got a chance to participate in a 6-week training session in French restaurants in the Aude region.

The lycée Charles Cros also takes part in the “Arts de la table Olympics”, an event involving 5 countries : France, Germany, Poland, Hungary and Spain. Each year a contest is organized in one these countries. This competition combines professional training and discovery of each country’s cultural heritage.

The next Arts de la table Olympics will take place in 2016 in Hungary, in Germany in 2017 and France in 2018. In 2018, the lycée Charles Cros will invite Estonian students interested in their training program. The school will provide food and accommodation to the Estonian students, who will only have to pay for their travel expenses.
