French strings quartet Quatuor Tana touring in Tartu and Tallinn

March 18, 2017 / March 19, 2017

The French band of contemporary music Quator Tana will play in Tartu on March 18 and in Tallinn on March 19

The French Institute of Estonia and Eesti Kontsert are pleased to welcome the French string quartet Quatuor Tana for 2 concerts in Estonia in March.

The concerts will take place in Tartu on March 18 (19:00, Vanemuise Concert Hall) and in Tallinn on March 19 (17:00, Kultuurikatel).

The Tana String Quartet was formed in 2004 to promote contemporary repertoire and enhance the relationship between composer and performer; they place no boundaries when selecting style or genre and often present classical repertoire alongside contemporary works.

Their concerts will feature a selection of works by Shostakovich, Debussy, Bartok or Turina.
